The Lesbros Project
Lesbros is a community and advocacy project for masculine females, including transmen, butches, and transmasculine people. We run a feminist book club, regular meet-ups, and online spaces for connection and discussion.
We do not organize around a single identity label. Instead, we look at the histories and structural conditions many of us share. Our labels may change over time, while familiar patterns remain: female masculinity, homophobia, misogyny, violence, medicalization, family rejection, and the search for community.
Feminist theory gives us a way to examine those continuities without requiring everyone to interpret transition in the same way or use the same language for themselves.
Lesbros is a place to compare experiences, explore uncertainty, and build community across difference.
