Lesbros is a community project for transmen, butches, and transmasculine people. We run a feminist book club, regular meet-ups, and online spaces for connection and discussion.

Members use different identity labels, but share an understanding of ourselves as female. Together, we explore the experiences, histories, and social conditions many of us share, including female masculinity, same-sex attraction, misogyny, violence, medicalization, and family rejection.

Feminist theory gives us a way to examine those continuities without requiring everyone to interpret their lives in the same way or use the same language for themselves.

Lesbros is a place to compare experiences, explore uncertainty, and build friendships across difference. Belonging does not depend on having everything figured out or agreeing on every explanation.
